We believe that the types of housing available to community members plays a significant role in how people feel and interact with each other. Also, investing in the place where we live by using local suppliers and businesses as much as possible provides tremendous benefits to the community through the growth and strengthening of the regional economy.

2. Design principles

We design with a focus on convenience, energy efficiency, connected living, beauty and value. We situate buildings amongst mature trees and vegetation and incorporate connected pathways, dense gardens, garden boxes, edible landscaping, walking trails, and children’s play areas.

3. Healthy living

Building exercise into our daily routines through activities such as walking, biking, or getting out into nature provides tremendous physical and mental heath benefits. The location of one’s housing plays a very significant role in having access to these options and we believe that building higher density yet locationally appropriate housing is key is to meeting these needs for our community members.
